Positions Available

Second Shift Assembler

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Harness/Box Build Assembler

  • Perform cable cutting, as required.
  • Ability to use crimping and wire striping tools.
  • Perform wire jacket stripping and inner jacket stripping of wire harnesses.
  • Complete complex cable and harness systems per work instructions and drawings
  • Utilizing a wire layout board route wire and components to create a harness assembly.
  • Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.
  • Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
  • Ability to use semi-automatic machines and hand tools.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of first article, in-process assemblies and finished products using measuring tools (tape measure / micrometer / pull test machine)
  • Solder parts or connections between parts
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and do basic math.
  • Must be able to effectively use all tools required for wire harness assembly.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 2:00pm to Midnight

Secondary Operations and Hand Soldering

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Technician, this position uses specialized equipment, such as a soldering iron, or de-soldering equipment, operating at specific temperatures to solder components to a PCB. Soldering is common in electronics manufacturing, where you make precise welds to connect electronic components to the printed circuit board. Since this position requires soldering together very small parts, the craft requires extreme precision. In this position you may also work with hand tools to make precision repairs to failed components, or those installed incorrectly.

  • Manual assembly of electronic and mechanical devices according to assembly instructions, customer specifications and quality standards
  • Hand soldering of various electronic devices (surface mount and through hole) following the J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards
  • Reworking thru-hole and surface mount assemblies including fine pitch components and ensuring that IPC criteria have been met according to the above standards.
  • Component preparation (forming), placement or installation
  • Visual inspection of assemblies per the IPC-A610 standard and customer specific standards
  • Perform functional testing when needed
  • Product and materials packing for shipment
  • Taking part in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set requirements are updated regularly
  • Participate in team level quality improvement initiatives
  • In-process Inspection and touch up of thru-hole and surface mount components using microscope.
  • Ability to demonstrate rework skills with de-soldering station and hot air gun.
  • Other duties as assigned

Customer Service Specialist, Wisconsin Location

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Answer incoming calls and e-mails for your specific customer assignments regarding new quote opportunities, delivery, order changes, expedites, complaints and general customer concerns.
  2. Contact customers via phone or e-mail regarding production issues, delivery issues or suggestions for positive change. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Work with sales, customer, and engineering to acquire necessary manufacturing documentation to be able to provide accurate proposals.
  4. Clarify customer requirements and expectations regarding delivery, pricing, and quality.
  5. Review sales margins when new POs are received and adjust pricing accordingly.
  6. Forward vendor price increases to customer as received from the purchasing team.
  7. Work closely within the sales department (internal and external) to help on-board new customers.
  8. Excellent team skills including the ability to build trust, manage conflict, make commitments, be accountable to management and their peers and be goal/results oriented.
  9. Function as a liaison between the customer and the quality manager, ensuring RMA’s get issued to the customer when a problem has been identified and the customer is considering returning product for rework or credit.
  10. Coordinate RFQ process from start to finish, entering all information into our quote tool, creation of job folder and uploading all documentation files, announcing of the new quote or re-quote opportunity to the team.
  11. Work with the production and scheduling team to stay current on the status of all orders for your customer base. Communicate any changes/delays or manufacturing issues to the customer.
  12. Maintain compliance to current ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Qualifications/Experience/Education

  • Customer service/inside sales experience, preferably in an electronics or technical environment.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline a plus.

Shipping Receiving Clerk, Wisconsin Location

SUMMARY

As part of the materials team, this position is responsible for all aspects of shipping, receiving and the stockroom.  Must have good organizational skills with the ability to maintain a systematic and accurate approach to inventory control.  Must be able to work independently, shift priorities as needed, and work well with others.

PRIMARY ROLE

  • Receive raw material from Receiving Inspection (RI) into the ShopworX ERP system and inventory in the proper bin location in the stockroom as well as fill shop orders for the production floor. Package and prepare internal orders and/or daily shipments in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Verify material at the completion of the shop order and return it to the assigned stockroom locations as needed.
  • Maintain 100% inventory accuracy, including daily cycle counting.
  • Create and maintain efficient organization of all materials, including newly acquired parts for new product introductions (NPI) and ensure material flow is consistent with FIFO guidelines.
  • Identify, justify, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.  Prepare MRRs for lost or damaged inventory per applicable company policies. Maintain identification and traceability requirements.
  • Identify and isolate obsolete material and forward it to Management for review and disposition.
  • Prepare bills of lading and schedule freight pick up as needed.
  • Help unload incoming material from trucks as needed.
  • Verify part numbers, quantity, package size, unit of measure, etc. match supplier packing slips to ETI/ACH purchase orders.
  • Document and segregate rejected material for review and disposition.
  • Receive material into ERP system per WI-028 Incoming Inspection.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • The ideal candidate would have 2 years of experience in shipping, stockroom, or inventory control, but are willing to train with the right candidate.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and up to 70 lbs. with assistance.
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping/receiving/order picking related documents, work instructions, ability to accurately count, label and prep orders for production or end user.
  • Must be able to package and/or unpackage components and pick orders for production.


PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and web browser software.
Experience in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.

Interpersonal skills and relationship building.

Communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Background with GD&T desired but not required.

Ensure compliance to ISO9001:2015 materials procedures.
