Assembler

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow defined work instructions to perform general assembly work according to IPC standards.
  • Adhere to company quality expectations.
  • Perform work within standard allotted time.
  • Follow all safety rules.
  • Maintain an orderly work station.
  • Specific duties are varied but may include:
    • wire jacket stripping
    • crimping of wire harnesses
    • soldering/tinning wires
    • assembling cables
    • braiding cables
    • preparing and inserting parts on circuit boards
    • soldering components on circuit boards
    • coating printed circuit boards
    • assembling components and subassemblies into control boxes
  • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Machine Operator

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow defined work instructions to operate automated machinery to complete work according to IPC standards.
  • Adhere to company quality expectations.
  • Perform work within standard allotted time.
  • Follow all safety rules.
  • Maintain an orderly work station.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
  • Set up, run, identify and diagnose machine issues, and adjust automated machinery within company guidelines.
  • Examples of automated machinery within the facility are:
    • Surface mount technology (SMT) assembly equipment
    • Curing ovens
    • Circuit board screen printers
    • Circuit board soldering equipment (wave solder, selective solder)
    • Automated optical inspection (AOI)
    • Axial insertion machine
  • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Customer Service Representative

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the performance and leadership of all aspects of Customer Service, including an understanding of current business trends.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement activities that will assure that the organization is meeting or exceeding key targeted performance metrics related to customer service.
  • Excellent team skills including the ability to build trust, manage conflict, make commitments, be accountable to management and their peers and be goal/results oriented.
  • Work closely within the sales department (internal and external) to secure new business.
  • Working with the operational unit, identify key customer service concerns and facilitate resolution.
  • Champion the performance of the Organization with respect to key strategic and/or customer service metrics and initiatives.
  • Coordinate information flow with respect to new products and product changes between the customer, sales, engineering, purchasing and production. Communicate program concerns (financial, resource, timing) to the management team.
  • Work with the material, engineering and production departments to establish shipment confirmation/delivery dates.
  • Clarify customer requirements and expectations with regard to delivery, pricing and quality.
  • Work with the customer to acquire necessary manufacturing documentation and information.
  • Work with customer to clarify part substitutions and part replacements.
  • Assure that all orders are acknowledged and entered into the ERP system.
  • Coordinate RFQ process: coordinate timely development of labor and material inputs, prepare information for review and approval and submit final quotation to Director of Sales for review. Work with the Director of Sales to determine the best method for delivery of quotation.
  • Receive assignments in the form of objectives and determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
  • Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect the organization.
  • Work as a facilitator between departments to meet schedules and or resolve technical problems.
  • Maintain compliance to current ISO 9008 Standards.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

5+ years of customer service/inside sales experience, preferably in an electronics or technical environment.

Associates or Bachelors degree in a technical discipline a plus.
